ABOUT JEN
Most yogis come to meditation by way of physical asana practice. Many would prefer to avoid it altogether, which is understandable given its difficult and elusive reputation. For Jen, however, a daily meditation practice was the gateway to the other 7 limbs of yoga. Having had a disciplined practice for a few years, she finally took her first yoga class and the rest was history.
Meditation was the balm that soothed Jen’s lifelong anxiety. It helped her slowly pick up the pieces of a life layered in adrenal fatigue, perfectionism, disordered eating, and nervous system dysregulation. It was the anchor of stability through her divorce and the experience of natural disaster. Meditation is the stillness that provides simplicity and spaciousness, and it is the key that unlocks the door to a life lived with integrity and humility.
Om Alchemy’s origin is meditation. Jen’s vision is to create a space where people can experience the wisdom of the ages in a practical, accessible, and fulfilling way. If every person on the planet learned how to find comfort in stillness, we could change everything. Meditation is that powerful and you have access to that power within you at all times, despite your previous lived experience.
The yogic path gently encourages us to drop the story we’ve been carrying around and extract the moral instead. By embodying the moral of our stories we’ve likely been telling on repeat, we are able to share our wisdom with our community. We become living examples; way-showers for those around us. As Ram Das said, “we’re all just walking each other home.”
Jen’s teaching reflects a seasonal focus, offering classes that support the nervous system and enhance physical vitality.
She specializes in working with the connection between mind, body, and spirit through ancient and original wisdom. The entry point to working with her is her classes. Jen’s offerings gently encourage you to release everything that is not your Authentic Self so that you can be of greater service to Love.
Ultimately, it is through direct, embodied experience of self with Self, that we rediscover our true essence. The all-inclusive nature of yoga is one of the paths to that enlightenment.
It is truly Jen’s greatest pleasure and honor to be a part of your evolution and help you expand into living a higher-value life.
Jen lives in North Carolina, in the mountains of Asheville with her beloved. Together they are preparing their land to host community gatherings and local retreats.
